Won The West

Foaled on May 4, 2004, Won The West won races all over the world during his illustrious career.  In 109 lifetime races on the Standardbred pacing circuit, he finished in the money 75 times with 36 victories.  Despite missing his two-year-old season with a broken ankle, he was the third-richest pacer in history by the time that he retired.  Along the way, he won the American-National Stakes in three consecutive years, the Breeders Crown Open Pace in consecutive years, and the 2010 Canadian Pacing Derby.  He was named as the winner of the Dan Patch Award for Best Older Male Pacer 2009 and 2010, one of just eight to win the award in consecutive years.

Won The West has been a resident of the Hall of Champions since October 2012.
